Chris Taylor (born May 12, 1989 in Edmond, Oklahoma) is an American soccer player who currently plays for Portland Timbers in Major League Soccer.

Taylor played college soccer at the University of Tulsa, where he was a regular in their defence from 2007 to 2010. During his time there he was named to the All Conference USA team, the Conference USA All-Academic team, the NSCAA All-Midwest Region second-team, the ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District VI first team, and the C-USA All-Freshmen team.[1]
Taylor was selected by Portland Timbers in the second round of the 2011 MLS SuperDraft (22nd overall).[2] He signed with the club on March 17, 2011.[3]
